IMPACT organisational policies

As a humanitarian NGO, the association IMPACT is independent, private and non-profit. IMPACT’s representatives and teams work with strict political and religious impartiality, according to the principles of non-discrimination and transparency, guided by the humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, and the values of responsibility, impact, entrepreneurship and inspiration.

IMPACT code of conduct is core to the organization, its team, operations and management. The Code of Conduct provides clear guidance on the standards of behaviour and conduct all staff are required to abide by. Those standards are as follows:

  1. I will respect others
  2. I will maintain high standards of conduct, both personal and professional
  3. I will commit to protect IMPACT’s beneficiaries
  4. I will ensure to be attentive to the safety & security of myself & others
  5. I will protect IMPACT’s resources and assets
  6. I will protect the confidentiality of IMPACT’s information and data
  7. I will report any incident or concern relating to this Code

The Code of Conduct is governed notably by IMPACT organisational policies:

Your personal data

According to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, any user who has deposited nominal information either directly or indirectly, may ask for the submission of this nominal information through a request to IMPACT Data Protection focal point either by email to geneva.dp@impact-initiatives.org or in writing to IMPACT Data protection focal point, Chemin de Balexert 9, 1219 Chatelaine, Switzerland – and have them edited or suppressed.

Anyone employed by or working for IMPACT shall commit to act according to IMPACT’s Code of Conduct, which outlines the expected behavior of IMPACT teams.

To ensure that funds are used exclusively for humanitarian purposes and in accordance with donors’ compliance requirements, all job / internship / volunteering offers are subject to the condition that potential staff names do not appear on anti-terrorism lists, in line with IMPACT’s anti-terrorism policy.

To this end, your data shall be automatically processed.
