Yemen

Conflict in Yemen has left close to 75 percent of the country’s population in need of humanitarian assistance. According to the 2018 Humanitarian Needs Overview, 16 million lack access to safe drinking water or sanitation, 16.4 million lack adequate healthcare, and 8.4 million are severely food insecure. Due to a series of constraints, the humanitarian response to the crisis suffers from a major lack of information, leading to inefficiencies in the design and targeting of humanitarian aid. REACH contributes to the humanitarian response in Yemen by supporting interagency assessments and analysis, information management and humanitarian coordination.
