Since the start of the Donbas War in 2014, conflict along the 467 kilometre Line of Contact continues. Regular ceasefire violations in densely populated urban areas affect an estimated 600,000 civilians and more than one million people have been forced to leave their homes. Instability and the division of the region have greatly impacting access to food, healthcare and markets as well as general development. REACH has been based in eastern Ukraine since 2015 and continues to provide assessment and information management support to aid actors in Ukraine.
