Syria

Since 2011, conflict across Syria has resulted in severe destruction, large-scale displacement and an escalating humanitarian crisis. As of May 2018, there is an estimate of 13.1 million people in need of assistance within Syria, with three million living in hard-to-reach and besieged areas. Given the constantly changing conflict dynamics, timely and comparable information is crucial for effective needs-based response activities. Since 2012, REACH has worked to support humanitarian actors working in response to the crisis by providing humanitarian situation monitoring across the country.
