Host Communities

REACH promotes and supports an approach which takes into account the situation of both the displaced populations and the Jordanian communities hosting them.

Formal Camps

REACH partners with UNHCR and UNICEF to facilitate a better response for populations displaced by the crisis in Syria and staying in camps.

Informal Settlements

REACH provides aid actors with information on the number and location of informal settlement sites, as well as the demographic profile, needs, and intentions of the settlement populations.

REACH is a joint initiative of two international non-governmental organisations, ACTED and IMPACT Initiatives,  and  the  United  Nations Operational  Satellite Applications  Programme (UNOSAT). REACH was created in 2010 to facilitate the development of information  tools and  products that  enhance the  capacity  of aid actors  to make  evidence-based decisions in emergency, recovery and development contexts.
